Membership Definitions

FINANCIAL YEAR *
Macarthur Dog Training Club’s Financial Year commences on the 1st day of July in each year, and terminates on the 30th day of June in the following year.  In any given Financial Year, a Full Years Membership applies from the 1st of July to 31st of December, a Half Years Membership applies from 1st of January to 1st of May.

It should be noted that if you joined Macarthur Dog Training Club before the 3rd week in May, a Membership Renewal fee of $35.00 will be required again before 1st of July.

Full year Applies*  -01st July to 31st December - $55.00 (General) or $40.00 (Aged Pensioner)
Half Year Applies* -01st January to 30th June   - $35.00 (General) or $20.00 (Aged Pensioner)

GROUND FEES
Adults (18 years & over) = $4.00 per Handler
Juniors (12- 17 y) & Aged Pensioners = $2.50 per Handler

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP
One or more family members resident at the same address who are over the age of twelve (12) years.  When voting on Club matters, a General Membership entitles the members to one (1) vote each.

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP
A “Junior Member” defines a person over the age of twelve (12) years and under the age of eighteen (18) years who has been admitted as a member of the club under a General Membership.  Junior members are not entitled to vote on Club matters or hold any Club Offices.  These members will become eligible to vote and hold Club Offices 3 months after their 18th birthday, where upon formal notice should be given to the Club that said member no longer holds Junior status.

AGED PENSIONER MEMBER
Any person that holds a valid Aged Pensioners Card may apply for Aged Pensioner Membership.  An Aged Pensioner Membership entitles the member to one vote.

Any member may train any number of dogs on any of the above Memberships providing that said dogs have been vaccinated and proof of vaccination has been submitted to the Club. New dogs may be added to a membership at any time under the same conditions as previously stated.

To save any upset at a later date, if you do not understand any of the above information and would like to discuss it further, please do not hesitate to ask the Secretary before signing this application.
